Obituary of Thomas A. Knight

From 21 June 1905, Clark County (IL) Herald


Thos. A. Knight was born in Clark county near Auburn, April
13, 1868 and departed this life at his late home in Marshall,
June 20, 1905, aged 43 years, 2 months and 8 days.  He was
united in marriage to Harriett E. Reece and as a result of the
union five children were born.  He leaves these and his wife,
three sisters, two brothers, and his aged mother to mourn his
death.

He was a loving husband and father and a kind neighbor.  He
was an efficient constable for this township.

Funeral services were conducted from the Auburn M. P. church
Wednesay, June 21, at 4 o'clock by Rev. W. M. Hailey.  A large
number of his old friends and relatives were present and
followed his remains to their last resting place nearby.
