Obituary of Christopher Lichtenberger

14 December 1904, Clark County Herald


Christopher Lichtenberger was born in Marion county, Ohio, June
22, 1836.  At the age of 20 he came to Illinois with his
parents and settled on a farm in Darwin township one half mile
west of Hatton where he died Dec. 3, 1904, aged 68 years, 5
months and 17 days.

He leaves behind him in sorrow a wife and three children, Adam
Harry Christopher and Mrs. Ben Spangler besides four
grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. John A. Koppler and Mrs.
Henry Denzer.

The funeral was conducted Saturday by Rev. J. C. Craig.
Interment in family lot on old homestead.
