Obituary of Prosper C. Leseure

16 November 1904, Clark County (IL) Herald


Prosper C., youngest son of F. E. Leseure and wife, was born at
Auburn in 1876.  When about fourteen years of age, his parents
moved to this city where they resided until seven years ago
when they moved to West Union and from there shortly after to
Terre Haute which city has since been the family home.

On Oct. 5, 1903, the subject of this article was united in
marriage to a Miss Miller at Pana.  They then moved to St.
Louis where they stayed a short time, then moving to Rich Hill,
Mo, where he secured a position as manager of a store.  His
health began to fail in July of this year and a short time ago
they came to Terre Haute, where he died on Sunday, Nov. 6, from
diabetes.  The funeral services were held in that city and on
Wednesday morning the remains were brought to this city and
interred in the Marshall cemetery.  A number of relatives and
friends were in attendance.
