Obituary of Lula May Prevo

29 August 1906, Clark County (IL) Herald


Lula May, daughter of James and Anna Prevo, was born May 7, 1889 and died
at the home near West York Aug. 25, 1906, aged 17 years, 3 months and 17
days.

She had been afflicted with an abcess in her ear for some six years.  She
bore her suffering with out complaint.

Funeral services were conducted at the residence Aug. 26, by Rev. T. C.
Bailiff, after which the remains were laid to rest in the York cemetery.  A
host of friends followed to the last resting place, bearing flowers which
were strewn upon the grave in testimony of the high esteem in which she was
held.  The bereaved relatives have the sympathy of all.
