14APR1997 - THE CASEY REPORTER - AREA DEATH - FRANCES V. POE

Frances V. Poe, 86, of 207 E. Harrison, Casey, IL, passed away Tuesday, 
22Apr1997 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, 25apr at the graveside in 
Casey Cumberland Cemetery with Rev. Hugh Smith officiating.  Visitation will be 
Friday, 1 hour prior to the funeral service at Markwell & Son Funeral Home.
She was born 02Jun1910, to Edgar Allan & Cora Jane (Davis) Poe.  She was a 
housekeeper throughout Casey for many years.

Survivors include 1 son, Frank "Gene" Poe of Chesapeake, VA; a sister, Stella 
Willey of Sutherland, IA; a brother-in-law, Lawrence Fox, of Casey; 2 
grandsons, Frank E. Poe, Jr., of Chesapeake, VA; & Philip M. Poe of Suffolk, 
VA; & 3 great-grandchildren; great-grandson Dustin Poe; & great-granddaughter 
Ashley Poe of Suffolk, VA & granddaughter Caroline Poe, Chesapeake, VA.
She was preceded in death by her parents & 2 sisters, Nellie Fox & Virginia 
Gray.
