MARTINSVILLE PLANET - 27OCT1971 - ALICE MAE POE, CASEY RESIDENT, DIES FRIDAY IN 
NURSING HOME

Alice Mae Poe, 85, of Casey died Friday, 22Oct, in the Rude Nursing Home in 
Casey.

She was born 09Aug1886 in Clark Co.  Her parents were J. V. & Mary Ellen 
(Hills) Poe.  The deceased was a member of the Olive Branch Church.

Survivors include 1 son, Raymond of Casey, & 1 daughter, Mrs. Vera Cox, also of 
Casey; 2 sisters: Mrs. Amy Cribelar, Casey; & Mrs. Rosa Chaney, Martinsville.
Final rites were held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 from the Markwell Funeral Home 
in Casey.  The Rev. George G. Nika ministered the services, with burial in 
Casey Washington Street Cemetery.
