Obituary of Greetham Isaiah Smith

Martinsville Man Succumbs in Terre Haute Hospital


Greetham (Rink) Smith, age 50, of Rte. 3, Martinsville, passed
away at 1:15 p.m. Sunday in the Union Hospital in Terre Haute,
Ind. He was an employee of the Wabash Fiber Box Co. of terre
Haute, Ind.

Greetham Smith was born on March 11, 1919 in Cambridge Springs,
Pa., the son of Alton and Mary Buckle Smith. He was married to
Frances Brown on November 23, 1947.

Surviving are: the wife, Frances; daughters Carolyn, twins
Arleen and Elaine, and Gayle Ann, all at home; brothers Earl
Smith of Mason and Herbert Smith of Martinsville; sisters Mrs.
Alice Jones of Martinsville and Mrs. Lucille Hillard of Newman.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday in the
Greenwell Funeral Home in Martinsville with Rev. Hugh Smith
officiating. Burial will be in the Ridgelawn Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after noon on Tuesday.
