Obituary of Mrs. H. C. Tomaw

16 August 1905, Clark County (IL) Herald


Mr. and Mrs. James Edwards received word Monday of the death
of Mrs. H. C. Tomaw at Augusta, Illinois.  Our readers were
informed in a previous issue of her losing her mind and being
taken for treatment to the asylum at Jacksonville, where she
died last week.  Her remains were taken to her home for
interment.  The funeral was conducted by Rev. Bowman, a former
Martinsville M. E. Pator.  We extend our sympathy to Comrade
Tomaw in his bereavement.  Mrs. Tomaw made many warm and
staunch friends while she lived among us.  She was of a kind
and lovable disposition and a friend to every one.
