FORMER MARSHALL RESIDENT DIES IN TERRE HAUTE

  Mrs. Martha Tibbs, 50 years old, of Los Angeles, Calif., who had been 
visiting her brother, Dr. Stephen Bradley, in Terre Haute and a sister, Mrs. 
S. R. Prevo of Marshall, died at the Union Hospital at 9:25 Saturday night, 
following an operation.
  She is a former Marshall resident, but for the past seven years has made her 
home in Los Angeles.  She is survived by her husband, S. O. Tibbs, four 
daughters, Isabel, Mary Eleanor, and Patty Lou at home, Mrs. Clarence 
McWilliams of San Bernadino, Calif., and three sons, Ralph of New York, Eugene 
and Billy at home, one sister, Mrs. Prevo of Marshall, and one brother, Dr. 
Stephen Bradley of Terre Haute.
  The body was taken to Los Angeles by Ralph Tibbs and Dr. Bradley where the 
funeral was held yesterday.
