Obituary of James "Jim" Wells


James Wells, 88, of Martinsville passed away at 8:25 a.m. Tuesday in the
Paris Community Hospital.

Mr. Wells, well-known in this area, was born in Clark County, January 3,
1887, the son of Thomas and Mary Ann Reasor Wells.

Survivors include a son, Glenn of West Union; three daughters, Mrs. Minnie
Weir of Detroit, Mrs. Lunoris Toner, Martinsville and Mrs. Nellie Smith of
Paris; 16 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will commence at 4 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Greenwell
Funeral Home where funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Friday
with the Rev. George Nika officiating.  Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant
Cemetery.
