Obituary of Sallie Draper Willard


Sallie Willard died at her home near West York Feb 28, 1892.  Sarah
Draper, consort of Martin Willard, was born in Putnam County, Indiana
July 13, 1818, was married to Martin Willard at the residence of her
father, Jesse Draper in Hutsonville Towship, Feb 21, 1841 by James
Hand.  Their married life of over 31 years was one of prosperity and
happiness.  They raised ten children, of which eight survive her, only
four were permitted to be with her during her late illness.  The others
were absent on account of sickness, and living in the Western Country.
