Hoke of Wilmington, Illinois, formerly of Louisville, Ill., aged 75 years, died Sept. 27 at St. Charles hospital in Aurora, Ill. She was born in Clay Co., Ill., Aug. 12, 1873. She is survived by 5 daughters, Luella Freeman of Louisville, Ill., Mrs. Lorena Ries of Aurora, Ill., Mrs. Jane Slankard of Danville, Ill., Mrs. Leota Zierk of Dundee, Ill., Mrs. Rovilla Peters of Wilmington, Ill., three sons, Thomas and Walter Hoke of Elgin, Ill., and Jesse Hoke of Louisville, Ill., 21 grandchildren, five brothers, Willis and John Freeman of Louisville, Ill., Walker Freeman of Sullivan, Ill., Jess Freeman of Keeline, Wyo., and William Freeman of Covington, Ohio, three sisters, Mrs. Julia Rogers of Xenia, Ill., Mrs. Belle Cantrell of New Lenox, Ill., and Mrs. Mary Wiseheart of Jacksonville, Ill. Her husband Reason and one son Rollie Hoke preceded her in death. She was a member of the First Christian church at Hord, Ill. The funeral was held at the Daleiden Mortuary, at Aurora, Ill., Wednesday Sept. 29 at 2 O'clock. The Rev. Elwood V.
