Stewart and mother of Robert H. Stewart, Lucinda Stewart, and Sarah Stewart Strader also buried in this cemetery. Her other children were Patience, Mary, Rebecca, Melinda, John H., Ruth and Emily, William H., Jr., and Dicy. She was over 90 years old when she rode on horseback from KY to Coles County, IL bringing on horseback the 6 dining room chairs that were her family heirlooms. Her 12-year-old grandson, John Stewart, rode with her. She then made her home with her son William H. Stewart and his wife. Mother of William H.
