JESSIE FLORENCE KINZEL, daughter of JOHN QUINCY KINZEL and SARAH LETITIA 
ZIMMERMAN, was born 14 Aug 1879 in Oakland, Coles, Illinois, and died 25 Sep 
1953 in Oakland, Illinois.  She married EDWARD GANT 05 Dec 1900 in Oakland, 
Illinois, son of MOSES GANT and SARAH HUGHES.  He was born 06 May 1871 in 
Hope, Indiana, and died 17 Mar 1953 in Robinson, Illinois.

Mother of Mrs. C. G. Phipps Dies
Funeral services for Mrs. Jessie Gant, mother of Mrs. C. G. Phipps, 320 Wabash 
Ave., were held in Oakland this afternoon.  She was buried in this cemetery.  
Mrs. Gant was found dead in the yard of her home at Oakland Saturday morning.  
Death probably occurred late Friday evening.  Besides her daughter, Mrs. Gant 
is survived by two other daughters, Mrs. Sarah Mefford, Robinson, and Miss 
Flora Gant living in Florida.
