Abbott, William Rufus, General Commercial Superintendent, 212 West Washington
Street, was born Sept. 18, 1869, in New York City. He was formerly Special Agent
in charge of rights of way and claims of the Chicago Telephone Company. In 1901
he was Superintendent of the Chicago Telephone Company, and since 1914 has been
General Manager.
