Alzen, Carl A., Fire Protection Engineer of 160 West Jackson Boulevard, was born
Aug. 7, 1853, in Stockholm, Sweden. For seven years he was Draughtsman for the
Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad Company; and for three years was
Inspector for the Chicago Board of Underwriters. Since 1896 he has been
Inspector for the Royal Insurance Company, Limited, of Liverpool, England. He is
a member of the British Fire Prevention Committee of London, England; is a
member of the Fire Underwriters Association of the North West; and a member of
the Swedish Engineers Society of Chicago.
