Baldwin, A. Stuart, Civil Engineer of 1364 East Forty-ninth Street, was born
Sept. 28, 1861, in Winchester, Va. He has held various positions in the
engineering departments of the Chesapeake and Ohio, Baltimore and Ohio, Chicago,
Milwaukee and St. Paul, Louisville and Nashville and Illinois Central Railroads.
He is now Chief Engineer of the Illinois Central Railroad. He is a member of the
American Society of Engineers, American Railway Engineering Association, (First
Vice-President), Franklin Institute, Western Society of Engineers, Engineers'
Club, Society of the Cincinnati in the State of Virginia, and the Flossmoor
Country Club.
