  Barr, Silas Miller, Life Insurance Underwriter of 122 South Michigan Avenue,
was born April 14, 1865, in Aurora, Ill. Since 1887 he has been engaged in the
life insurance business. In 1905-6 he was Superintendent of Agents for Cook
County; and since 1908 has been General Agent for the Equitable Life Assurance
Society. He is a resident of River Forest, Ill.
