  Barton, Enos M., Manufacturer of 500 South Clinton Street, was born Dec. 2,
1842, in Lorraine, N. Y. He is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Western
Electric Company; Director of the Merchants Loan and Trust Company, and a
Trustee of the University of Chicago.
