  Bates, Clyde R., Real Estate Dealer of 179 West Washington Street, was born
July 30, 1872, in Bryan, Ohio. He was Manager of the Real Estate Department of
the Chicago Consolidated Brewing and Malting Company; and President of the
Chicago Distilled Water Ice Company.
