Author: Mae Felts Herringshaw (1916)

  Beckwith, Edwin Burt, Physician and Surgeon of 25 East Washington Street, was
born in 1870, in Ridgebury, Pa. He was educated at Phillipps Exeter Academy,
Harvard University and Hering Medical College. He has been a member of the Staff
of the Chicago Homeopathic Hospital; Professor of Orthopedic Surgery in Hering
Medical College; now President of the Chicago Regular Homeopathic Society. He is
one of the Board of Censors of the Illinois Homeopathic Medical Society; and
Vice-President of the Chicago Theosophical Association. He specializes in
chronic diseases.
