Author: Mae Felts Herringshaw (1916)

  Beil, Carl, Sculptor of 19 East Pearson Street, was born Dec. 9, 1857, in
Stetten, Germany. He was Superintendent of the Sculpture Department of the
Chicago, Buffalo and St. Louis Expositions; and has a display of his work in the
LaSalle and Congress Hotels.
