Apr 30 1905 in Toronto, Canada, d. May 22 1980 in Chicago, Illinois. 1st m. (?)to Thelma Schultze (b. Jul 13 1901- d.Sep 1975), 2nd m. to Margaret Jane Swartz after 1975. He may have been married more than twice. Res. of Chicago, Illinois. Enjoyed Model Railroading, pet lover. Served in the U.S. Army from 1942 until 1945 as a truck driver -served in North Africa and England. Norman Langley enjoyed telling stories about WW2 to his step Grandchildren and was instrumental in developing their character and sense of patriotism. Norman Langley was the ‘spiritual rock’ to the Kaess twins regarding American Patriotism. Norman liked to watch popular 70's television programs such as 'The Muppets’ and ‘Ba Ba Black Sheep’. Norman Langley had one son who served in the Vietnam War and was residing in Carpentersville, Illinois during the 70's. This Son had two daughters living in Suburban Chicago. Brian Kaess and Garret Kaess both met them (Norman’s Son and Granddaughters) as children in the late 1970’s. Brian Kaess, Garret Kaess, and Margaret Langley all attended Norman’s funeral at Rosehill Cemetery, on the North Side of Chicago.
