Morning Oregonian September 10, 1904
Chicago,Sept.9- A dispatch to the Inter Ocean from Des Moines,Ia,says: Because 
her husband went to a baseball game over her protest,Mrs.Charles Evans,of 
Monterey,has committed suicide by taking poison.Her body,as it fell to the 
floor,accidentally struck her 10 months old daughter,crushing her and 
smothering her to eath.When Evans returned home both were dead.
