Chicago Daily Tribune - December 21, 1890
NEW ORLEANS, La., Dec. 20 [SPECIAL] -- Robert Bobet, head of the house of Bobe
Bros., stove dealers, died yesterday after a brief illness.  He was a native of
New York, but had resided here since childhood.  He served as Captain of the
Twentieth Louisiana Infantry during the war but it is the immense business he
had since built up that has made his name famous in two continents.
