Chicago Tribune -August 16, 1946
Charles Lane Bowes, 71, of 422 E. 6th st., Hinsdale, retired publisher of house
building plans and a resident of the Chicago area all his life, died yesterday
in the Hinsdale sanitarium.  Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow in the
chapel at 21 W. 2d st., Hinsdale.  Surviving are his widow, Eunice P.; a
daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Thayer of Rockford, and a son, Frederick P., Mendham, N.J.
