Chicago Tribune - June 12, 1929
Axel Marcelius Endresen was born on November 26, 1868, in Stavanger, Rogaland 
County, Norway, to Lauritz Endresen and Elizabeth Asbjørnsdatter Tonstad 
Endresen. He and his mother came to America in 1872 and joined his father, who 
had come over the year before. They settled in Cook County, Illinois. In both the 
1900 and 1910 censuses Axel was shown to be single and living with his parents in 
Chicago. 

Axel Marcelius Endresen died in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, on June 6, 1929, 
and was buried on in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Chicago, on June 10, 1929.
