M. Farber, died in the Evanston hospital after an illness of two weeks, due to a self-administered does of corrosive sublimate taken with the intent to end her life. Miss Farber, a freshman at the Northwestern university, swallowed the poison upon learning that her sweetheart had been butchered by Cossacks in the land from which she was exiled with her parents.
