Chicago,Oct.24- A dispatch to the Tribune from Opelousas,La., says that while 
engaged at prayer in the Catholic Church,Mrs.Donal Guillory, aged 100 years, 
was burned to death in a horrible manner.She was bowed before the altar,near 
which a number of candles were burning. her devotion concluded, she rose to 
leave the churh, when her dress came in contact with a candle and in an 
instant she was ablaze.
Only a few worshipers were in the church at the time and their attention was 
attracted by the agonized cries of the centenarian. They ran to her rescue, 
but too late. She died in agony a few minutes after her removal from church.
