Thomas A. Hayes Services for 2d Lt. Thomas A. Hayes, 21, an air force pilot formerly of 10028 Oakley av., will be held Friday in Kalamazoo, Mich. The remains of Lt. Hayes,whose plane was shot down over Germany on Nov. 2, 1944, were returned to the United States Monday. He was a graduate of Morgan Park High school. Surviving are his father, Thomas D. Hayes, senior service metallurgist of the United States Steel company; his mother, Olive, and a brother, Daniel J., of Decatur.
