Chicago Daily Tribune  March 19, 1942
George Hoffman, retired brewery executive, died yesterday in his home at 3911 
Joliet Avenue, Lyons. He was a founder and a former president of the Hofmann 
Brothers Brewing Company.  He retired in 1920. Mr. Hofmann was 87 years old.  
Funeral services will be held from the chapel at 720 Lake Street, Oak Park at 
9:30am Saturday, to St. Catherine of Siena church.

Buried in St. Boniface Cemetery in Chicago
