NIGHT CLERK DIES OF GUN WOUND 

An inquest will be held today in the death of Joseph A. Joachim, 60, night clerk 
in an apartment hotel at 2703 N. Clark st., who was found in his room yesterday 
with a gunshot wound in the right temple. Police found a revolver at his side and 
a note indicating he was taking his life because of ill health.
