Father and Son Perish When Home is Burned

Thomas King Sr. aged 93, and Thomas King Jr., aged 66, old-time citizens, die in 
flames Christmas night and are burned beyond recognition.  Suspicion of foul play 
aroused, but little develops to warrant it.  How fire started is not known 
however.  The wife of elder King died many years ago and Thomas L. King was 
divorced and is survived by two children. The elder King was born in England June 
23, 1823.

Both are buried in Crete Cemetery, Crete, Will County, IL
