REMEMBRANCE David W. Noble 

David W. Noble was born January, 18, 1939 in Hinsdale, Illinois and died on July
31, 2003 from complications of Diabetes. 

He graduated from The University of New Mexico with a BA. He entered the Marines
in1952 and served in the Korean War. He received the Bronze and Silver Star as
well as a Purple Heart. He was in the transportation industry for more than 20
years. He moved to Chino in 1974 and was a dedicated. fly-fisherman, golfer and
horseman. He belonged to the San Bernardino and Riverside Trails Associations
and was the last "Trail Boss" for the Chino Ride; he was a horse show announcer;
active member of the VFW Post 11546 "The Black Sheep." 

Once retired, he dedicated his free time to his grandchildren and family-
"Official Team Grandpa" for the Don Lugo Girl's Water Polo team. David enjoyed
lap-swimming at the YMCA and socializing at Target, where he was a checker. Even
after he became disabled, he worked there in Lane #4 - he loved people.

This obit was in my local paper yesterday and knowing that there are many Zook
researchers on these lists will post it in the hopes that it will be of help to
someone doing this research. I am not researching Zook personally. There is a
photo of Mr. Zook included in the article, which I will be happy to scan and
send to anyone writing to me personally for it. It is a very small photo but
