The father had just grasped his son by the arm to throw him from the tracks when the pilot of the engine struck them. Nolls was thrown on top of his son and the heavy train passed over both. When several employees of the railroad company reached their sides the father and son were unconcious. They were removed to the county hospital, where Nolls died a short time later. The boy, according to the attending physicians, is in a serious condition. His skull is fractured and he is hurt internally.
