NORTON, USA was killed in action in France on Sept 20, 1944. It states that he had formerly lived at 547 W. 37th st, Chicago. He was the son of Thomas and Helen (Nellie) NORTON, nee Lake and the brother of the late Thomas NORTON Jr. A memorial mass was held Tues. Nov 7, 1944 at St. Viator's Church. He was buried at Plot D Row 11 Grave 11 Luxembourg American Cemetery Luxembourg City, Luxembourg Additional Comments: The Chicago Tribune had his obit published on Nov 5 and 6, 1944.
