The body of William Tiffin/Tiflin, 57 years old, a resident of Lyons for more 
than thirty years and a veteran English soldier, was found floating in the 
Desplaines river near the Joliet road bridge. Tiffin/Tiflin is believed to 
have fallen into the river.
