Chicago Daily Tribune - April 2, 1911
H. G. Underwood, one of the oldest residents of Oak Park and high in Masonic 
circles, died yesterday at his residence, 312 North Humphrey avenue.  He had been 
ill with pneumonia for several days.  Mr. Underwood was born in London, England, 
in 1830.   He came to the United States in 1850, locating first at Brooklyn, N. Y. 

Fifty years ago he came to Chicago.  The funeral will take place on Tuesday.  
Three children, Mary, Harry N. and Edith - survive.
