CHARLOTTE WILKE OF ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, AGED RESIDENT, GONE Mrs. Charlotte Wilke (nee Clausing) of Arlington Heights, passed away at her home on West Campbell street, Friday evening , Aug. 26, at the age of 79 years, seven months, five days. Funeral services were Monday, Aug. 29, 1932, at the home and at 2 o'clock at St. Peter Ev. Lutheran church; Rev. C.M. Noack and Rev. H.C. Fricke, both of St. Peter church officiating. BUrial was in St. Peter cemetery; funeral arrangements by Karstens. Facts of Life: Charlotte Clausing was born Jan. 21, 1853, in Segelhorst-Kurhessen, Germany. She came with her parents to America in 1861, and they made their home in the vicinity of Elk Grove. She was confirmed by Rev. Schmidt in the Elk Grove ev. Lutheran church. Her marriage was on May 13, 1872, to Mr. Christ Wilke at Arlington Heights. This union was blessed with four children, one of whom, Martin, passed away at the age of four. The three living children are Mr. Fred Wilke of Palatine; Mrs. Martha Voigts of Elmhurst; and Mrs. Lena Jessen of Arlington Heights. Also to mourn her loss are one daughter-in-law; two sons-in-law; seventeen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Henry Wilke of Arlington Heights.
