Zimmer's Funeral to be Held Tomorrow Funeral services for Capt. Matthew Zimmer, chief of the uniformed forces of the Chicago police department, who died of carbon monoxide poisoning at his home, 8132 South Sangamon street, early yesterday, will be held from a chapel at 318 North Central avenue at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery. The active pallbearers will be Chief of Detectives William Shoemaker and Supervising Captains John P. Stege, Ira J. McDowell, John C. Prendergast, John Horan and Thomas Condon. Several hundred policemen are expected to attend the funeral. Capt. Zimmer is survived by his widow, Mary, and a son, Dr. William P. Zimmer, and two brothers, Michael and Peter. A verdict of accidental death was returned yesterday by a coroner's jury which investigated the captain's death.
