Certificate No.:     125194

Copy of marriage license (125194) received from Cook County Clerk:  Edward M. 
Harrison, age 21, Katie Manion, age 19.  "I, the undersigned, a Catholic 
priest hereby certify that Mr. Edward M. Harrison and Miss Katie Manion were 
united in marriage by me at Chicago in the County of Cook and State of 
Illinois on the 2 day of April 1888.  (signed) J.M. Carter, Nativity Church."

Additional Comments:
Katherine A. Mannion (AKA Manion) is the daughter of Michael Mannion and 
Catherine Kelly who immigrated from Cork County, Ireland in 1864/5 with two 
sons: John Mannion (1859 IRE - 1931 Kalamazoo, MI) and Martin Mannion (1958 
IRE - 1932 Kalamazoo, MI) (according to a old family letter, there were two 
other sons, one named Malacha or Malachi, who died in Ireland prior to 
immigration).  Michael and Catherine Mannion and their sons initially settled 
in Nashville, TN and subsequently had another child, Katherine/Kate in March 
1867.  Kate married Edward M. Harrison, Sr (1867 - 1941) and resided in 
Chicago, IL.  Children: Ella A. HARRISON HICKEY WANG (b.1889); Edward M. 
HARRISON Jr (1890-1970); Thomas A. HARRISON (1892-1961); Emma M. HARRISON 
(1895-1979); Katherine (b.1896); Jennie HARRISON DALTON CARLSON (1899-1969); 
Margaret A. HARRISON (b.abt.1904); and Irene M. HARRISON (1906-1957).  Either 
Katherine or Margaret became Sister Mary Xavierius, B. V. M.  Kate MANNION 
HARRISON died Bet. 1941 - 1957 (she was mentioned as a survivor in Edward's 
obit but not in the next obit found for Irene).
