O. Robinson, was born May 23, 1811, in Licking County, Ohio, where he was brought up; he engaged in farming, when he started for himself. In 1847, he came to Crawford County, Ill., and located in the northwest part of Robinson Township. In 1853, he purchased 160 acres of land to which he added 120 acres, which he afterward sold. In 1858, he bought forty acres, to which he since added 240 acres. Mr Alexander was married May 2, 1854, in this county, to Miss Lydia King. Politically, he is a Republican.
