Author: William Henry Perrin (1883)

  E. N. OTEY, Robinson, member of the firm of Otey & Son, was born in March,
1831, in Palestine, Ill. He learned his trade of house carpenter in Terre Haute;
has worked mostly in this county. In 1881, he and his son built a planing mill
in Robinson, and has been engaged in that business ever since. He owns a good
residence in town and ten acres adjoining the corporation. He was married in
Terre Haute, December 20, 1854, to Miss Mary C. Hebb. They have four children,
namely: Harry E., Rose, Clifford F. and Helen.
