SHORT, druggist, Robinson, was born in Danville, Ill., June 17, 1853, and his boyhood days were spent in Vermilion and Champaign Counties. He came to Robinson in March, 1875, and engaged in the drug business, which he still follows successfully. His annual sales amount to from $8,000 to $11,000. He carries a complete stock of drugs and notions, and has an extensive patronage. Subject was married October 9, 1879, to Miss Mary King, a daughter of Ira King, of Robinson.
