CAPTAIN HIGHSMITH'S DETACHMENT.

Of Illinois Mounted Volunteers, called Into the service of the United States 
by the Governor of the State of Illinois, by his order of May 15, 1S32, from 
the date of its enrollment to Aug. 2, 1S32, when mustered out of service at 
Dixon's Ferry, Illinois.
