Weger aged 24 a barber of Crawford Co. IL. son of Joseph N. Weger poultry dealer of Crawford Co.. IL., A Miss Trilla Shaw aged 21 of Palestine IL. , daughter of Freeman Shaw of Crawford Co.. marriage performed at clerk’s office by Justice Charles Fyffe. The marriage occurred Sat. Nov. 10, 1906 at Vincennes as stated but was kept a profound secret by the young people until the announcement of the issuance of the license appeared in the Vincennes paper of last week and even then there were very few in Palestine who learned of it. William E. Weger or Earl as he is much better known in Palestine- Earl Weger is a son of Jesse Weger until recently of St. Francisville, but who had recently removed to Pinkstaff. Earl came here from Flat Rock just 2 years ago and was employed by P.O. Lewis in his barber shop for several monthsand during his residence here made many warm friends by his general ways. Something over a year ago he resigned his position here and went to Decatur, IL., where he secured employment in one of the large shops and since remained there having a very good position. Mrs. Weger is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Shaw of this city and enjoys a large circle acquaintances here, having resided here for many years. ! She departed Friday for Decatur to join her husband and they will make their future home in that city. And the reporter joins the many friends of both partied of wishing them much happiness.
