S. Postlewait, removed to town last Thursday and have taken up their residence temporarily with the family of I. L. Decker. Mr. Richards expects to occupy the A. Shipman residence in the east part of town in the near future, as Mr. Shipman is contemplating a removal to Oklahoma next month. 2-21-1907 Palestine Reporter. Nels Nethery had the misfortune of being pushed thru one of the show windows at the post office Monday afternoon and the result is that the stationery sign which adorned the window is now badly disfigured although the broken window has been replaced. 2-21-1907 Mr. Vance Hawkins is in receipt of an invitation to attend the wedding of his cousin, Miss Grace Mills, of Casey , Illinois which occurred yesterday at the bride’s home. Miss Mills was united in marriage to Mr. Ira Coleman of Hunt City, and the newly wedded couple will reside at the latter point. 2-21-1907 We are glad to learn that Alex Wesner, who fell and injured his hip on the sleet several weeks ago has so far recovered that he can walk around with the aid of a cane. 2-21-1907 Miss Fannie Correll , who has been detained from her duties as a telephone operator for the Chamblin exchange for several days on account of illness is reported improving.2-21-1907 Miss Dora Crawford, who suffered a severe wound in the head some two weeks ago as the result of falling from the third trestle, is now afflicted with a severe case of erysipelas which has broken out in the wound. The little daughter of Finley Higgins has been very ill with pneumonia, but is getting better now. Harry Fox has been sawing wood with his gasoline engine outfit for Elijah Cravens, Wm. Buchanan and I. .N.. Laughead Willie and Fred Fox returned home from Indian Territory last wed. They report themselves, as pleased with their trip. 2-21-1907 John Magill and family entertained the young people of this neighborhood last Thursday night with a masquerade social.. Oysters, crackers, pickles and cake were served. All reported a good time. 2-21-1907 J. B. Gibson expects to remove his meat market to the J. B. Anderson building, which was vacated by W. H. MacHatton Tuesday, in the near future.
