Obituary of Mrs Albert LITTLE, Crawford County, Illinois This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by: Crawford County Web Site Mrs. Albert Little Dies The death of Mrs. Albert Little , daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Shaw occurred at her home near Longtown at 10:45 a.m., Saturday Nov. 10, 1906 after an illness of typhoid fever which had confined her to her bed for 72 days. Mrs. Little was stricken with the disease over 22 months ago and after it had run its regular course and she was apparently in a fair way to recover, she was taken with a relapse from which she never rallied. Mrs. Emma Shaw Little, was the daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Shaw and was born in the Richwoods neighborhood Sept 8, 1874. She died Nov. 10, 1906 , thus being 32 years, 2 months and 2 days of age at the time of her death. She was united in marriage to Albert Little in 1895 and has resided on the old Little homestead since her marriage. One child, a daughter, Cora , now about 6 years of age was born to this union. Mrs. Little is survived by her mother Mrs. Elizabeth Shaw who resides with her son Thomas, near Richwoods, her husband and daughter ! Cora, 2 brothers , Thomas and Jack both of the Richwoods neighborhood and 6 sisters, Mesdames Douglas, and Sam Kincaid of near Heathsville, Jos. Folck, of Pleasant View, Joseph Wolfe of Vincennes, Indiana, Cora Landom , of Indianapolis, and Ella Wilbur, of Colorado Springs besides a large number of more distant relatives and friends who mourn her departure while yet in the very prime of life. Mrs. Little was a member of the New Light Christian Church , having connected herself with that denomination at Green Hill in 1892 prior to the erection of the Pleasant View Church. The funeral services were conducted by the Rev. I. M.
