Ephraim on June 21, 1862 and passed away at his home north of Trimble May 19, 1944, aged 81 years, 10 months and 28 days. Uncle Charlie, as he was known by all, had lived the greater part of his life in this community. He had made his home with his sister, Mrs. Minnie Lowe, when he was unable to live alone because of failing health. He leaves a sister, Mrs. Minnie Lowe, of Trimble, a brother, J. A. Correll of Robinson, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends who will miss his friendly smile. He was a worker in the Trimble church all of his life and a leader in the musical exercise of the Sunday school and church. He was a staunch Republican, his life work, was a farmer, thresherman, assisted his father and brother in a tile factory for a number of years and led a busy life until his aged years caused him to cease work. He was pleased with the great personality of kindness in the family and neighborhood and always ready to lend a helping hand. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- USGENWEB NOTICE: These electronic pages may NOT be reproduced in any format for profit or presentation by other organizations or persons.
