Obituary of Daniel LOWE, Crawford County, Illinois Contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives Copyright 2000 Cindy McCachern Obituary of Daniel Lowe 25 May 1906, Hutsonville (IL) Herald   Daniel Lowe was born in Virginia Dec. 2, 1834 and died Tuesday the 23rd inst.  He came with his parents to Hutsonville in 1834 making the journey via the Ohio and Wabash rivers.  He has resided here over 72 years.  His father entering a part of the farm now owned by Mike King.  Mr. Lowe was twice married.  His first wife being Lucretia Moore.  To this union were born three children:  Mrs. Lizzie Mitchell being the only one living.  His second wife who still survives was Miss Fannie Rowe.  Six children were born to them, five of whom are living being Henry, Luther and Celestia Lowe of this place and John and Charles of Oklahoma.  Mr. Lowe was a member of the Church of Christ for over fifty years and was a man who lived the life of a Christian.  His friends were as numerous as his acquaintances.  Funeral services were conducted at the home Wednesday by Elder V. T.
